Well, I’m sure my UPS guy didn’t appreciate the weight of this unit, but it’s part of the reason it’s so solid. Very tight tolerances, so much so that after cutting several pieces of steel, aluminum and thin stainless, this unit is still able to cleanly slice a piece of copy paper. Pretty amazing. The shear has no looseness or play anywhere, the blades are replaceable and able to be resharpened, the lower blade can be rotated so as to utilize all four cutting edges, so you likely will never wear it out. Also, I had a question so I emailed customer service and got a prompt and VERY complete answer from Darren. Good job by all, and a very good product.
