Woodward Fab 1/2 Inch Dimple Die

The 1/2″ Dimple Die is a versatile tool designed for punching and flaring dimples in sheet metal. It can be used to punch holes, punch and flare at the same time, or flare existing holes. The die features precision ground, hardened cutting edges for clean and accurate results. It is compatible with sheet metal up to 1/16″ (16 gauge) mild steel or 14 gauge aluminum. Requires a 1/2″ pilot hole for installation, and comes with a draw bar bolt for secure attachment. Ideal for automotive, fabrication, and precision sheet metal work.

  • Die Size: 1/2″ Diameter
  • Material Capacity: Up to 1/16″ (16 gauge) mild steel or 14 gauge aluminum
  • Function: Punch and flare dimple dies
  • Ideal for: Sheet metal forming
  • Durability: High-quality construction for long-lasting use

Start with small pilot hole and by tightening the provided bolt the tool will first punch the hole and by continuing to tighten the bolt a beautiful, uniform dimple will be formed to strengthen the metal.
